Little Lusk Campground is full of nature’s beauty nestled next to the Shawnee National Forest in Stonefort, IL. Our owners, Jamie and Deborah Poe, welcome you to the sprawling, gorgeous 85-acre horse campground. Jamie and Deborah live on-site and love to meet campers and answer any questions about your camping experience. In addition, the Poes enjoy hosting entertainment in the lodge’s gathering room and Event Barn. We welcome you to come to ride our trails, enjoy primitive or upscale camping, relax in our lodge, and dance to live music at night.

Our trailheads lead into the Shawnee National Forest, Lusk Creek Wilderness area, and Bay Creek Wilderness area. You’ll ride along winding trails and flowing creeks. We also offer numerous lakes and the perfect regions for hunting and fishing. Take a swim in one of the breathtaking primitive swimming holes or hike to one of our nearby exquisite waterfalls.
